HDR Panorama demo with rawmaterial from Alona Beach Bohol

E-mail Print PDF

The same view at Alona Beach in late morning with and without HDR-photography. Look at the clouds at mid right, compare the two shots and look at the man reading in the shade of the trees. HDR lets me see both rich in texture, as I do with my own eyes.
The HDR-Panorama stiched out of 8 bracket shots. A bracket consists out of 3 shot of the same object at different exposures. Here 0,-2,+2. Note the added contrast in the brigtest and darkest zone of the picture after the three shots got merged. The high dynamic range information of three pictures allow some extensiv but simple photolab work with Photomatrix on the actual exposure of the final photo.
